I had just found out that I was 6 weeks pregnant with my second child. Almost immediately after finding out my news, the morning sickness hit. And it wasn’t “morning” sickness – it was 24/7. I was horribly nauseous basically all day and night, to the point of almost being nonfunctional. The hardest part was that it made it incredibly difficult to take care of my 4 year old daughter. I was desperate to feel better. I had never tried acupuncture before, and I was a bit skeptical and nervous. However, after getting the ok from my ob/gyn, I went to Dr. Candace Jania at the New Jersey Center for Reproductive Health. Dr. Jania took a thorough intake of all my symptoms and treated me accordingly. I can honestly say that I am now a firm believer in the healing properties of acupuncture. I still had some nausea to contend with after being treated, but it helped tremendously to the point where I was able to take care of my daughter and tend to all the other household duties I had. I felt more energetic and it took the edge off all the morning sickness symptoms. Dr. Jania was more than accommodating in fitting me into her schedule, meticulous in her treatment, and, as a mom herself, she was sensitive to my concerns and my physical issues. After one visit, I knew I was in good hands and trusted her completely. After personally experiencing the benefits of acupuncture, I plan on going back to Dr. Jania for any other physical issues I may have in the future. — M

I have been a patient for 8 months. I originally came to ACRH because I was having really bad pain, cramps, headaches, hot flashes, nausea, mood swings and dizziness. I was pregnant, and I wanted help with insomnia and eventually post-partum depression. I received help with my sciatica, which was not relieved through chiropractic. I have had (and will have again) an incredible experience with ACRH. My sciatica is something I don’t even feel 99% of the time.
